EFS EXPLORERS Saint George’s Day Barbecue and Parade was held on Sunday 27th April. We started the day at 10:30am from Rovsco Hall, Snaresbrook. Activities on the day included Giant Jenga, Connect-4 and an inflatable Gladiator Jousting. The Exploers were treated to a BBQ expertly prepared and cooked by the leader team. The parade was held at Christchurch, Wanstead where we had three young people take part in the reading and one Explorer parading with the district Explorer flag. Sam received the community award during the presenations. In total we were represented by 23 Explorer Scouts, 2 Leaders and 1 unit helper, a good turn out for 2008.
