A swimming assessment evening has been completed to gauge each Explorer’s ability in water. Several Explorers took part in this event. With the number of activities increasing over the next twelve months involving water it is essential for the Explorer leaders to be confident that the young people in their charge are able to swim. Twelve Explorers attended this evening all gaining at least their stage 4 swimmers badge.

All Explorers wishing to go to Kendersteg in 2009 will need to have attended one of these evenings, the next one is planned for early January 2009.
