Network Scouting supports young adults aged 18 and 25 years old.

As Network members you will be responsible for planning and running your own programme with guidance of course from the Network Scout Leader (me). I will however be actively encouraging all members to plan and complete their Duke of Edinburgh Gold, Queen Scout Award and the Explorer Belt.

Subscriptions will cost £50 per year, this includes capitation and administration costs. This money can be paid in one lump sum or split into two parts, one in September and the other in January.

As a member of the Network Unit you will be required to fill out and send off a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) form, this is standard practise for all members of the movement 18 years and over. All leaders, assistants and even parents wanting to help need to go through this process.

Our first meeting will be on Tuesday 2nd September 2008 where we will be able to discuss any questions or queries you may have about joining the Network Unit as well as an opportunity to start looking at the sort of programme you would like to run. I will also be bringing along a number on CRB forms for any members wishing to join
